Best Windows Apps (seminar description)
All apps covered are free from the Windows store (available from Windows 8/10 and Windows phones, many also available in Apple and Google Play Stores). We will look at 2 or 3 apps from each of the following categories and more:
Using apps instead of web sites.
Searching and downloading from the Windows store.
Entertaining Children
Educating Children
Everyday Life (Roads, Rail, Shopping, Houses, Translators etc)
Entertainment and Education for grown ups.
Photo apps
Social Media
Speech -
Make your computer easier to use, faster (dictate your letters and Emails) and more useful (translate speech) for yourself.
Consider how the technology might benefit friends and family with visual, audio and physical problems.
You can try it out for yourself, no need to train the computer to your voice!
